Plant the seed of meditation and reap the fruit of peace of mind.

Meditation cannot be taught and it has to be experienced! It is the process of letting go of one's ego and hence any form of control or coercion is counter-productive. When the mind is focused, time passes by quickly. Instead of focusing the mind on external objects, focus it on inner thoughts.

We are never happy with what we are or what we have. In other words we do not accept things as they are -- we are always in the process of becoming something other than what we are. The mind is always engaged in the process of "becoming" -- just be aware of its workings without making any judgments or effort to control it

  • Choose a quiet location and time
  • Meditate during early morning hours and do meditation regularly at the same time and location.
  • Do not indulge in any other activity in the meditation area.
  • Sit comfortably in cross-legged position either on the floor or on a pillow.
  • Play soft melodious music if needed.
  • Do not strain the eyes, brain and mind.
  • Do not forcefully control the mind and thoughts. Just observe the mind as it wanders.
