Eat to live and not live to eat

Overeating is the primary cause of many health related issues. Eating the right food in right quantity at the right time has a great impact on the body and mind. Keep the diet simple and natural by eating first-hand foods from nature like vegetables, fruits, legumes etc. Eat slowly by chewing the food well.

Fasting gives digestive system a break allowing the body to cleanse itself thoroughly by getting rid of impurities. Fasting can be undertaken for 1-3 days without any expert guidance. Fasting for a longer periods in time helps in repairing the body functions to maintain good health.

  • Avoid red meat, alcohol, drugs
  • Drink limited amount of coffee, tea, sodas
  • Avoid fatty foods, sugary items, fast foods
  • Have soups, salads, fruits, legumes, nuts and seeds.
  • Consume organic food whenever possible
  • Eat soon after cooking, do not refrigerate and reheat.
  • Introduce changes to the diet very slowly so as to not upset the digestive system
  • Eat well before going to bed so as to give enough time to digest.
  • Give break to the digestive system by not eating too frequently
  • Do juice fasting, saltless fasting as and when possible
