A beginner's class lasts for 50-60 minutes and the asanas are introduced progressively in each class. A typical beginner's class would include:

- 3-6 rounds of Sun Salutations, Relaxation
- Single leg raises, Relaxation
- Double leg raises, Relaxation
- Sarvanghasana (Shoulderstand)
- Mathsyasana (Fish Pose)
- Relaxation
- Paschimothanasana (Seated Forward Bend), Relaxation
- Bhujangasana (Cobra), Relaxation
- Dhanurasana (Bow), Relaxation
- Padahasthasana (Standing Forward Bend), Relaxation
- Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)
- Trikonasana (Triangle Pose)
- Final Relaxation
